Order of Christian Initiation (formally RCIA) The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is for anyone who is thinking about becoming Catholic and:
● Is not baptized OR
● Is a baptized Christian in another denomination who wishes to explore becoming a member of the Catholic Church OR
● Is a baptized Catholic who has not yet received all of the sacraments of initiation, i.e., Eucharist and Confirmation.
If you would like to learn more about Catholicism and begin to discern whether you are being called to make the Catholic Church your spiritual home, come join our Christina Initiation group. We will meet weekly from September through May. The purpose of our sessions are to introduce you to the beliefs and practices of the Church, and to facilitate your exploration of our relationship with Jesus Christ.
Each session includes prayer, Scripture reading and catechetical instruction. Our first session for 2023-2024 will be held on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 from 5:00pm-6:15pm. Meetings are held once per week in the School Office Lounge. It will be an opportunity to learn about the program, and meet the team and the other inquirers. You’re welcome to just show up at the meeting, or can contact the rectory for additional information.
