High School Bible Study

Aug. 7 Passage

Paul's First Letter to the Thessalonians

(It's not that long and you have two weeks.  See you then!)

Special Summer Session!

Wednesday, Aug. 7

8-9pm in the Rectory Basement

If you've ever wondered what they were talking about in last week's Second Reading or someone asked if you believe in the Bible if you're a Catholic, we've got something that might interest you.

Our High School Bible Study program meets on Wednesdays from 8 to 9 PM, mostly in the basement of the Rectory.  Any high school student is welcome.  Bring your friends.  We'll provide the snacks and soda.  All you have to bring is your bible.

Don't get nervous...there are no tests, quizzes or homework! (Well, there's a little homework. We'll let you know on the website what the next passage is we'll be working on and it probably makes sense to read it before you show up.  That's not too hard is it?)  You don't have to share deep personal secrets unless you want to.  This is just a chance to explore the scriptures based on our Catholic heritage with a bunch of other teenagers who are also interested.

Some other parishes have come out to some of our sessions and seemed to enjoy things.  So if you have a free Wednesday, finish your homework early, tape that show instead of gluing yourself to the tube and come out and see what God has to say.  Any questions, call Fr. Schiele at the rectory 610-399-6936.
