When: In September: After the 9:00, 10:30 and 12:00 noon Masses
Invitation: Everyone is invited to St. Maximilian Kolbe for a celebration of all that goes on in the Parish through our lay ministries and organizations.
What: Time to widen the circle of active laity in the Church. Where can you fit in? What is your talent? How can you give just a little time?
Who: All organizations and ministries will be there at tables. They will have materials that give their needs, the possibilities for your helping to build the community of God's people.
Reason: We need you. Stewardship is not just donating funds. That is appreciated. But we need many hands, heads, hearts, people building up people.
Come join us. Have a doughnut and coffee. Bring the kids. A parish is not the buildings that are, nor the buildings to be. A parish is a people coming together helping, caring, loving, and praying.
See the attached TIME AND TALENT INTENT FORM. Please take home and reflect on the ministry where you can serve God and your parish community. The completed form can be submitted above or the form in the bulletin can be placed in the marked box in the back of Church or brought on Volunteer Sunday.
