CYO Coaching Requirements
Anyone interested in coaching/volunteering whether in CYO sanctioned sports or the intramural programs at St. Max is required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to do the following:

Submit a State Police Background Check no older than 3 years. -Contact Father Schiele at frschiele@juno.com |

Submit a Department of Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance no older than 3 years. -Contact Father Schiele at frschiele@juno.com |

Submit a signed “Standards of Ministerial Behavior and Boundaries” completion form to Father Schiele at the Rectory office after attending a Safe Environment Workshop.
-Log on to Virtus Online and click on the Registration link. Sign up and attend one of the listed workshops. Turn in the yellow and white copies of the form to the Rectory office and keep the pink copy for yourself. |

Sign up and attend a Coaches Orientation Session and turn in a copy of the completion certificate to the Rectory office. -2007-2008 Coaches Orientation Information (.pdf) to view times and locations. Arrive at session ˝ hour early for registration. Note: You won't need this unless you're coaching JV or varsity but are highly encouraged to do so. |
